Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Interventional Technologist I - IR Tech
Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts with rotating day off per week
• 13 or 26 week contract available
• Call as needed basis
• Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of mentor/preceptor
• Must have completed Associate Degree or above program in Radiologic Technology OR 2 year RCIS program
• Required certifications: BLS/ACLS and one of the following - ARDMS (RDCS or RVT), ARRT (Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Radiography), CCI (RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS)
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders
• Utilize specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment for diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting of equipment
• Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Provide patient-centric care to adult and pediatric populations in various care settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team and communicate with patients and families
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently, multi-task, and remain calm in stressful situations
• Candidates with no travel or trauma experience will be considered
