Description
Overview: The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. Qualifications:Education: -
Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology
OR Radiologic Technology
OR Respiratory Therapy
In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years experience.
AND Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
OR - Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
- OR - FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
- OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
- BLS - ACLS
- Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
