General Nurse Practitioner position in Neuro-Interventional Radiology Office

The Division of Neuro-interventional Radiology performs diagnostic and minimally invasive angiographic procedures for patients with brain aneurysms, AVM’s, strokes and tumors. Spine procedures include interventional pain management with image guided steroid injections, Vertebral and Kyphoplasty, spinal stimulator trials and implants, Radiofrequency ablation of nerves and tumors, diagnostic and therapeutic spinal taps along with many other procedures on inpatients and outpatients.

As part of the Montefiore Medical Center Radiology Department, you will be part of a congenial team of physicians and PA’s responsible for assessing patients, performing history and physicals, documenting in the electronic medical record, entering orders for pre-procedural testing, reviewing the results, prescribing medication when needed, and assisting with office procedures. Once established, you can perform post procedure follow up office and tele-visits while assisting the office staff with scheduling hospital procedures, obtaining insurance authorizations, and responding to phone calls from patients and referring MD’s regarding our neuro practice and services.

The position is full time Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays. Neurosurgical and or Neurology experience is required.
