Travel Cath Lab Technologist – South Charleston, WV
Start Date: 3/30
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Gross Pay: $3,521/week
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shifts
Call: Up to 7 days per 4‑week schedule
Average Case Volume: ~10 cases/day
Distance Requirement: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility
Employment Restriction: Cannot have worked for WVU Health within the last 2 years
Position Overview
A high‑performing cardiovascular team in South Charleston, WV is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a weekday schedule with rotating call. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech who thrives in a busy procedural environment and is confident supporting a full range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Active ARRT
- Current BLS
- Permanent residence 50+ miles from the facility
- Must not have worked with WVU Health in the past 2 years
- Strong procedural knowledge and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced lab
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Maintain sterile technique and prepare procedural instruments
- Support physicians and RNs throughout cases
- Participate in call rotation as scheduled
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to all safety protocols
